That morning when he woke up
He could only hear silence when she spoke up
And he knew the haze would fall surrounding all it touches
As he tried to rid himself from the devils clutches
That woman has blood stained eyes
Another saga of spoken lies
It’s going to get better at the end of it all
But damn it hurts so hard when you take the fall
By your hand we all was fed
Stabbing hearts with invisible bloodshed
He had been through death before
And he wasn’t surprised to see love strewn out on the floor
Memories they fell
Eyes started to well
Anger held back as he could feel himself choking
It would take till the end of the bottle to find she wasn’t joking
And with a turn of the page he turned away
The sun don’t shine on her today
